Earth Day has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean that your commitment to a healthy environment has to stop.

Here are a few simple ways that you can make your every day living more green.

Eat greener!

1.) Seek out local. Stocking up with fresh produce from local growers not only tastes better, it also involves minimal transportation, greenhouse gas emissions, preservatives and pesticides.

2.) Eat your veggies… and fruit. Embrace green eating. A diet heavy on fruits and veggies takes less energy to produce. Plus, it’s healthier for you.

3.) Cut out take-out. Cut down on fast food consumption for a thinner waist line and a healthier environment.
